Work permits
Whether you need a work permit depends on where you're from and which role you're applying to.
If you're an EU/EEA citizen, you can work in Norway freely. Just register when you arrive.
If you're from outside the EU, you'll need a work permit. For some roles, especially skilled trades in construction, we can support your application. For others, you'll need a permit already, or arrange it yourself.
Each job listing tells you exactly what applies. If you're not sure, ask us before you apply. It's faster than guessing.

Most of our warehouse, industry, and construction roles don't require Norwegian.

Pay and conditions
Norwegian labour law applies to everyone we place. That means equal pay for equal work, paid holidays, sick pay, and pension contributions.
No exceptions. No shortcuts. The same protections as any Norwegian worker.

Do I need to speak Norwegian to get a job?
Not for most of our warehouse, industry, and construction roles. Some skilled positions do require Norwegian, usually where safety or precise communication matters. Each job listing tells you exactly what's needed.
Do you help with work permits?
It depends on the role and where you're from. EU/EEA citizens don't need a permit. For non-EU citizens, we support permit applications for some roles, especially skilled trades in construction. Ask us before you apply if you're not sure.
How fast can I start working after I apply?
Often within a few weeks. Sometimes faster, depending on the role and your situation. Once we've matched you to a job, we move quickly.
What does Jobzone cost me?
Nothing. Norwegian law forbids staffing agencies from charging workers. The companies hiring you pay us.
What kind of contract do I get?
A proper Norwegian employment contract, with Norwegian pay, paid holidays, sick pay, and pension contributions. No exceptions.

Can I apply if I'm not in Norway yet?
Yes. Many of our placements start before the worker arrives in Norway; we'll coordinate timing and confirm permit status with you along the way.

A CV in English or Norwegian, ID, and, if you're not from the EU/EEA, information about your work permit status. That's it to get started.
